Essaouira, Morocco · Ride in. Reset. Ride out.

Three, five or seven days of surf, dinners and the medina.

A small camp inside the walls of Essaouira, run by instructors from here. You surf every day, eat with the group every evening, and watch the sun go down from our spot outside the ramparts, our goal is to share the real local life as a young moroccan surfer.

The week

Eight things a week here is made of.

Which of these you get depends on how long you stay. Water in the mornings, the town and the country around it in the afternoons, and one table every evening.

Surf days

Every stay is built around the water. Small groups, instructors from Essaouira, boards and wetsuits included. Beginners start in the sheltered bay; if you can already surf we go where the swell is working.

Kitesurfing

The wind arrives most afternoons, which is why this coast is known for it. We take you from your first time on a bar to riding upwind on your own.

Cooking classes

Buy the vegetables and the fish where we buy them, then cook the meal you've been eating all week. You leave able to make it again at home.

Team dinners

One table, every evening, home cooking. It's how a group of strangers turns into people who keep messaging each other long after the week ends.

Quad biking

Out along the dunes and the forest tracks behind the beach, on the afternoons the wind is too strong to be worth fighting.

06 / 08

Outdoor days

Camels on the sand, the villages inland, the argan country south of town. This is the part of the week that isn't about sport at all.

Secret sunset views

Spots outside the walls that aren't in the guidebooks and don't have a crowd. We take the group up on the evening the light looks right.

Surf the sand

The big dunes south of town drop straight onto the Atlantic. Take a board up, ride it down, walk back up, do it again until the light goes.

Three ways to spend the week

What's included in each

3 nights

First Light

A hostel bed in the medina, three days surfing with an instructor, and dinner with the team every night. The short one, for a first taste.

5 nights

Sandbar

Five nights in the medina, five days in the water, and a day out of town for something else — long enough that the surfing starts to click.

7 nights

Point Break

Seven nights, surfing every day, and a different thing each afternoon — including the villages outside town, where the week stops feeling like a holiday and starts feeling like living here.

When to come

There's surf all year and no fixed start days. Pick your arrival date, tell us which package, and we'll confirm on WhatsApp.
